Since the premiere in July, the project has been very successful.  It was screened in different festivals and programs including DanceLive 2020 (Aberdeen, Scotland), Cuerpo Mediado festival de Videodanza (El Rosario, Argentina), Moving Images Videodance fest (Cyprus) Screen.dance 2021 (Scotland)  and awarded Audience choice award at WildDogs intl Screendance fest (Calgary, Canada).

Dan will discuss 'State' a film and dance he coordinated with 60 dancers at different locations around the globe with composer Adrian Blezian PerezI am very excited about what is coming next.  On 18th January, Video Project #STATE will be traveling to New York City (USA), in a special event organised by ATOA Artist Talk On Art, where I will discuss my choreography, dance and film with some of the dancers involved on the project as the musician Adrian Blezien Pérez. ATOA has been celebrating artists through these talks since 1975 and it is such an honour to become somehow part of their history in NYC and share my work with their audience.

The special event will be 18th January from 6pm to 7.30pm New York City time

and because of the pandemic, everything will be via zoom

so i would love to invite you and join this special night if you are available.
